‘We know what we’re facing’: Georgia’s governor on GOP fears over midterms

Gov. Brian Kemp (R-Ga.) downplayed concerns about Republicans struggling in statewide elections, even as some in his party, including former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, sound the alarm ahead of the midterms. “I think everybody knows what we're facing,” Kemp said in a conversation with POLITICO’s Jonathan Martin, acknowledging a tough environment but urging candidates to stay focused.
