President Donald Trump took revenge on Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) for backing efforts to release the Department of Justice's files on Jeffrey Epstein, a Republican congressman has claimed.
Appearing on the latest episode of "The Tucker Carlson Show," which was released Wednesday, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) claimed the president blocking a bill set to bring drinking water to a vast swath of Colorado was retaliation.
It was reported in November that Boebert had been summoned to a meeting in the White House Situation Room as Trump and his team pressured the one-time loyalist not to sign a petition to force a House vote to release the documents on the late *** offender.

On Wednesday, Massie — who joined the moves to get all the Epstein files in the public domain — claimed Trump also "vetoed a bill that would’ve brought water to a large portion of Colorado. Over Epstein."
"Why are people in Colorado deprived of water because their representative wants to expose a *** trafficking ring?" he asked.
Massie is likely referring to Trump in December vetoing a bill aimed at funding a decades-long project to fund safe drinking water in Boebert's Colorado district.
Boebert criticized the decision but did not link it to her rebellion over Epstein. Trump has not weighed in on Massie's latest comments but has launched an effort to unseat the congressman.
At the time, Trump, who was friends with Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s, slammed "stupid" Republicans for "trying to bring up the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax again."
