Multiple legal organizations and over 100 scholars and retired judges have filed an ethics complaint against former Attorney General Pam Bondi, accusing her of ethical violations and political weaponization. They are calling for an investigation and asking for the Florida Bar to take action.
“Bondi repeatedly ignored her ethical obligations,” Virginia Canter, chief counsel and director of anti-corruption and ethics at Democracy Defenders Fund, said in a press release. “She was responsible for releasing sensitive information about Epstein victims, shielding documents in the Epstein files from the American public, violating court orders and charging citizens for crimes without probable cause. This warrants an investigation and action – lawyers have been disbarred for less.”

Bondi, who was fired by President Donald Trump last month, is set to testify later this week in the House Oversight Committee’s Jeffrey Epstein probe. Bondi also just confirmed to CNN that she has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer, according to a report earlier on Wednesday.
